We partnered with the legendary Tyler Smith, to grow and handle his short-form content for his gaming brand and online persona, Tdawgsmitty.

The Challenge
With an audience already built around educational Call of Duty content, he wanted to pivot to something he enjoys more.
The global Call of Duty content landscape at the time was primarily educational, but we knew Tyler's energetic persona and passion for storytelling could break through and pave way for new types of content.
The Solution
We suggested pivoting to interesting stories surrounding Call of Duty and adjacent titles in the FPS genre; positioning Tyler as THE voice of casual FPS gaming.
We developed a writing methodology for his story content, ideated, scripted and edited 3 60s+ short-form videos every week.
We also advised on long-form content direction and various elements of his brand.
This freed up Tyler's time to focus on live-streaming, creating long-form and spending more time with his family while his short-form content ran on autopilot.



The Results
This incredible campaign ran from June 2023 through May 2024; giving us 11 months to transform Tyler's brand.
In addition to successfully shifting his content, we handled the entire process for sponsored videos from Xbox Game Pass, 5HR Energy, and Xfinity.
